With the new season fast approaching, the FA have made the draw for this season's Emirates FA Cup and Buildbase FA Vase.

In the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round, Wivenhoe Town will face familiar opposition as Brantham Athletic made the short trip to visit the GMP Plant Hire Stadium. The match will be played on the 11th August. The winners will host Welwyn Garden City in the Preliminary Round.

In the FA Vase, Wivenhoe Town will travel to Newbury Forest on Saturday 1st September in the First Qualifying Round. The winners will face either Clapton or Woodford Town 2017 away in the Second Qualifying Round.
