Continuity for the Dragons Coaching Teams. Kieron Shelley and Lionel Toms remain in charge at Wivenhoe Town.

Wivenhoe Town Football Club are pleased to confirm that the management teams for both the First Team and Under 23’s will remain in charge for the new season.

The First Team will be led by the joint management of Kieron Shelley and Lionel Tom. Ollie Leroux has also returned to the club to re-join the coaching team.

The Under 23’s will be led by Jeff Welsh, assisted by Adam Bethell alongside Coach Elliott McIver Jones.

The coaching teams did a fantastic job last season and we believe that both our teams are progressing in the right direction under the guidance of the current management. The continuity is vitally important as we aim to push on for an even better season, aiming for success both now and in the future.

Joint Manager Kieron Shelley said “We are really looking forward to the new season and I am very much looking forward to working with Lionel on a joint basis. We are very happy to have Ollie back on board, he adds a lot to the management team and it’s great to have him back at the Dragons. I’m looking forward to seeing the supporters back at the club for the new season

Joint Manager Lionel Toms added “I’m really pleased to be remaining at Wivenhoe this season working alongside Kieron as joint managers and can't wait for it to start so we can welcome the fans back to the club again. We are aiming to build on last season’s efforts this time round

Kieron and Lionel said “We’re very pleased with the players we have retained and we are excited about the players we are talking to about coming to Wivenhoe Town this season. Announcements will be made in the next few weeks once signings can be made formally
